About Coach V

Owner and Founder, Russell Vanlandingham holds a Master’s Degree in Sports Management from Hardin-Simmons University, along with 20 years experience recruiting student-athletes at all 4 year levels (NCAA D1, D2, D3 & NAIA D1). His professional background and successful career at the college level includes signing 60+ All-Conference Selections, 9 Conference Championships, 2 RRAC Coach of the Year Awards, and 2012 Texas College Coach of the Year. Coach V’s experience as a lead recruiting coordinator gives him a unique advantage when assisting prospects/parents throughout the recruiting process. Coach V’s UCExposure Camps are designed to provide under recruited prospects and college coaches an alternative to 200 prospects playing games all day. The 48 capped camp allows recruiting coordinators to evaluate selected invites in a college level elite camp setting. The in-depth player analysis along with prospects showcasing intangibles, skill, toughness, and the mindset it takes to play beyond High School puts every attendee in position to get discovered or go from interest to an offer. Vanlandingham has utilized his first-person experience as a recruiting coordinator and college champion to create a highly effective program unlike any other on the market to get under the radar players discovered and move selected prospects from interest to an offer. The greatest victories throughout my career were recruiting prospects not on every radar and watching them grow into college champions. Coach V now devotes his life discovering those same players and guiding each individual client to the right FIT! In 2019-2020 50+ prospects moved from interest to an offer taking the Uncommon Approach!!!
